Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum that our company has to purchase to do business with Gerber and Company foods?
One pallet or approximately 1200 lbs of food is considered a minimum order.

Is your product outdated or expired?
There are opportunities where the manufacture will guarantee the wholesomeness of a product beyond its use by date in writing. Often times a use by date is for rotational inventory purposes only.

Where do you find these offers?
Most of our offers come directly from the manufacturer or their distributors.

Why can’t our company just buy these food offers from our existing food supplier?
Manufactures and suppliers want the general public to purchase what is current for the highest market price that they can secure. Most of these offers are not even available to the general public so as to not drive down market pricing. Many may be an over run from a chain restaurant that was made specifically for their recipe requirements.

Why would I want to purchase from you if I have rebate or purchase programs in place with my current food supplier?
Many of these rebates programs cut checks at the end of the quarter or yearly where as purchasing with us cuts your food costs immediately. In many circumstances we can save three to four times more than current rebate programs.

How can I find out what current food offers are available?
Please use the contact us form and we will contact you to discuss what means works for you to find out about our current offers.

If we are limited on space and cannot make the minimum purchase how can we still take advantage of your products and savings?
Gerber and Company Foods can work with your current food distributors to store the product you cannot currently hold but would love to purchase. Contact us for more details.
